ATEN Advance, the leading AV/IT connectivity and management solutions provider, has launched three new products in their all-new audio range of products- the latest ceiling speakers AS104, AS106 and power amplifier AP106 to power them.
Both speakers are ideal for enterprise-grade audio applications, such as auditoriums, places of worship and small or mid-sized commercial spaces that require a clear and intelligible sound solution. AP106 is perfect for upgrading commercial or residential Pro AV systems where maintaining ultra-low distortion while exhibiting exceptional sound quality is required.
The AS104 comes in a pair of 4” coaxial 2-way and AS106 comes in a pair of 6.5” coaxial 2-way ceiling loudspeakers. Phase issues are minimized as a result of the adoption of the coaxial neodymium magnetic driver, making sound waves with various frequency bands easier to be added together instead of cancelling each other out.
Both the models are switchable for use as either an 8 Ω low-impedance speaker or as part of a 70V / 100V distributed loudspeaker system. They have UL94-V0 compliance for life safety applications.
The speakers come with a paintable magnetic grille to render the speakers to blend into any room décor. Also, their magnetic grill and dog leg mounting system make the units easy to install.
Power amplifier: The AP106 is a 60W power amplifier with Hi-Z outputs capable of driving 70 V / 100 V audio systems. The support for balanced/unbalanced line-level inputs enables superior sound quality and installation flexibility. With Class D efficiency, the amplifier comes in a smaller, lighter enclosure, yet runs cooler compared with other classes of amplifiers with the same amount of power. Built to be energy-efficient, the amplifier enters Power Saving Mode when no audio input is detectable in 30 minutes and turns back on when a source is detected.
