Loud Technologies Asia (LTA) turned up the heat with its “Blaze n Beer” event on February 21 at its Experience Centre, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of system integrators, end-users, and rental & staging companies from Singapore. The event showcased the powerful capabilities of Blaze Audio’s solutions, giving attendees a first-hand experience of their exceptional sound quality.
Niels Tholander Lorentzen, Executive Sales Director for EMEA & APAC at Blaze Audio, kicked off the event with an insightful introduction, tracing the company’s journey from a specialist in amplifier modules to a recognized leader in loudspeaker solutions. His presentation underscored Blaze Audio’s commitment to R&D and innovation, which has fuelled its steady rise in the industry.
Joining the event was Thomas Marcher, Managing Director of AV Distribution Asia, a company that provides representation and business consultancy services for manufacturers across APAC—including Blaze Audio.
The first demonstration session spotlighted Blaze Audio’s Ci2, a passive ultra-compact 2-way full-range loudspeaker, and the Ci5, a passive 2-way full-range model with strong output and solid bass. Also shown for the first time in Asia, outside ISE was the Ci X6-V, an IP55-rated speaker that delivers 100-degree coverage both vertically and horizontally. It features a 6.5” coaxial compression driver and a 1” silk dome tweeter, offering an SPL range of 114 dB to 120 dB peak. The showcase intensified when the speakers were paired with the C8S Passive—a discreet, shallow on-wall subwoofer—leaving guests impressed by the clarity and crispness of the sound.
The excitement escalated in the second session, held in an open space, where Blaze Audio’s CBL528 Bi-amped Constant Beamwidth Loudspeaker took centre stage. With its 180° horizontal coverage and integrated gain-shading for a precise 45° vertical pattern, the CBL528 demonstrated consistent, even sound distribution. Also featured were the CBL523 Passive Constant Beamwidth Loudspeaker and the BL18S High-Power Passive Subwoofer. Attendees witnessed a striking moment when the CBL528s were repositioned from front-facing to side-facing—without any change in audio quality. Additionally, when a microphone was placed close to the speakers, there was minimal feedback, further reinforcing the brand’s superior engineering.
Despite the open-space setting with no sound treatment and surrounding walls, the performance of Blaze Audio’s solutions remained impeccable, earning high praise from attendees.
Colin Quek, Managing Director of Loud Technologies Asia, emphasised Blaze Audio’s unique value proposition: “Blaze has always been a strong brand. Not many companies offer what Blaze does—a one-to-one exchange policy and a five-year guarantee. That level of confidence in their products speaks volumes. This event allows guests to experience the quality of our speakers first-hand, which many haven’t had the chance to do before. We also showcase our control software, which gives system integrators full control while allowing end-users easy access.”
He further highlighted the brand’s impact in the region: “Blaze’s pedigree and solutions make life easier for our customers, which naturally drives sales. Coupled with our strong customer support, warranties, and return policies, we’re solidifying both our position and Blaze Audio’s in the market.”

The “Blaze & Beer” event was more than just a showcase—it was a resounding statement of Blaze Audio’s cutting-edge technology and unwavering commitment to excellence.
