Artificial Intelligence and ChatGPT – the two most fancied tech buzzwords today – are going places, literally. People have given many a sobriquets to the ultra-sophisticated tech format: Pervasive, Invasive, Disruptive, Transformative and more of such abstract epithets. But here is one high-flavoured expression, made in Hyderabad. ChaiGPT- read it Genuinely Pure Tea. The punchline below reads Enhanced with AI (read Adrak & Ilaichi)
Certainly new, entertaining flavour, isn’t it?

Just the other day, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman vouched his commendation for India as his largest market after the US; and its adoption of AI is outpacing the world.
During his visit to India in recently (in February this year), Altman in fact highlighted India’s growing dominance in the global AI landscape. He emphasised that India should take the lead in artificial intelligence and become a central player in the AI ecosystem. Notably, India has emerged as the second-largest market for OpenAI, further cementing its position as a key player in the AI revolution.
Anil Chopra – promoter of noted tradeshow PALM Expo – recently assertively voiced he can access any length and depth of info via ChatGPT.
Perhaps, neither Altman, nor Anil would (have) imagine that ChatGPT can have an expression of ChaiGPT, with enhancement of AI…! For promoting a business of tea brand.

However, for Rohit, a software techie with Wipro in Hyderabad, and his brother Kiran, a practicing Civil Engineer, the tech terms meant more than just fancy.
Rohit, who wanted to develop a tea brand of his own as a business venture, explored the the ChatGPT for a choicest flavour. While he found some interesting info, what he found on the market were not of that unique flavour; most brands spread out in the market having one or other colour contamination- for ‘added flavours!’
While he continued his efforts with a few laboratories for developing the genuinely pure tea flavour, he hit upon the idea of adopting the name ChaiGPT- purely with the intention of capturing public attention.
He did enhance the flavour of his brand with AI. Adrak, meaning ginger, and ilaichi, meaning cardamom – two most favoured flavours of tea in India.
Expectedly, his naming of the business, put up on a tea stall did capture the attention of people and a few media eyes too. While the venture is still to find the desired flavour and monitizing means, it did give him the energy and drive to pursue it.
“ChatGPT is an oceanic world, or even bigger; one can search anything, and make anything,” admits Rohit. “I’m making my own, but the results have to come from the lab. Hopefully will make it.”
