On October 4th, Electro-Acoustics Systems (EAS) hosted its highly anticipated EAS Solutions Day event, bringing together top industry partners including Analog Way, Epson, Q-SYS, and Sennheiser. The event, held in Singapore, catered to a diverse range of end-users from different vertical segments and consultants during the first half of the day.
“Our goal was to show guests how seamlessly integrated solutions can enhance the overall experience,” said Lam Tze Tze, Executive Director of EAS. With a mix of static partner displays and dynamic integrated demonstrations, attendees were given a first-hand look at how various technologies work harmoniously to deliver powerful audiovisual experiences.
The main presentation space was the heart of the event, showcasing a fully integrated set-up. At its core was Analog Way’s Aquilon RS6 multi-screen presentation system and videowall processor, orchestrating the display of multiple sources across the main screen and an existing LED wall in the venue. Epson’s EB-PQ2220B 4K Laser Projector, equipped with an ultra-short-throw lens, demonstrated the ability to project crisp, bright images even from short distances, captivating the audience with its sharpness and clarity.
Audio quality was also a key focus. Sennheiser microphones, paired with the Q-SYS Core, delivered balanced audio output through Renkus-Heinz’s ICL-X speakers and ICLX-118S subwoofer. The presentation space also featured advanced tracking capabilities, where Q-SYS cameras and a moving head tracked the presenter, enabled by SEERVISION, a recent acquisition by Q-SYS.
“The live demonstration was a fantastic way to show how these solutions come together to create a seamless experience for our guests,” remarked Tze Tze.
Another highlight was the Boardroom setup, which demonstrated a cohesive audiovisual solution tailored for meetings and corporate environments. Sennheiser’s SL Boundary wireless microphones and the TeamConnect Ceiling 2 mic were central to this space, complemented by a Sennheiser TeamConnect Bar M soundbar. An Epson EB-810E projector, displaying a 21:9 aspect ratio, was cleverly housed in a custom portable case, demonstrating its versatility and potential in different spaces.
Guests were also treated to unique audio solutions in other venue areas. The SoundTube FP6030-11 Focus Point speaker, housed in a transparent dome, offered a perfect solution for environments requiring a focused audio footprint. “These speakers are ideal for spaces like museums, where visitors can listen to information about a particular exhibit without disturbing others nearby,” explained Evelyn Fong, Product Sales Manager at EAS.
Additionally, a SolidDrive SD-1 Actuator in Titanium, embedded within a glass surface, highlighted its potential in retail environments. “These discreet actuators deliver full-bodied audio that can be used for targeted messaging, making them a great solution for retail settings,” Evelyn added.
The second half of the day was dedicated to the rental and staging industry, allowing professionals to experience the showcased solutions in action.
“We are thrilled with the turnout and grateful to our partners for their active involvement. Nothing compares to seeing, hearing, and experiencing these solutions firsthand,” said a satisfied Evelyn.
