Epson, the number one projector brand worldwide for 19 consecutive years, announced the launch of a new high brightness laser projector, the EB-L30000UNL, the industry’s first 30,000 lumens projector with 4K enhancement technology. It is the lightest and smallest in the world among 3LCD projectors with 30,000 lumens and above, according to Futuresource Consulting[1].
Powered by Epson’s proprietary light source for outstanding image quality, the EB-L30000UNL is poised to expand Epson’s line-up in the high-end AV rental sector and is suitable for use in demanding environments with fixed installation requirements such as large auditoriums, museums, theatres and houses of worship.
The EB-L30000UNL’s robust design is light and compact, making it easy to integrate into existing infrastructure and is a breakthrough in terms of size at its current level of brightness. With Epson’s original laser light source structure and advanced electrostatic filter, the EB-L30000UNL delivers up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free use[2].
The projector comes with a triple layer dust-proof structure housing a sealed optical engine for excellent durability and resistance, reducing airflow and the risk of dust and smoke intrusion. A liquid cooling system maintains optimal temperatures of key optical elements within the sealed optical engine.
The EB-L30000UNL is the first in Epson’s high brightness laser projector lineup to introduce a Geometry Correction Assist for a more efficient and worry-free projection in a stacked setup. Accessible through the Epson Projector Professional Tool, this new feature adjusts the projected images automatically using a built-in camera for an impressive viewing experience with twice the brightness.
The new model works with the same 4K-compatible lenses used by Epson’s EB-L25000U for interchangeable use. This lens lineup boasts a wider range of lens shift, making it useful for environments with extremely limited lens-to-screen distances.
Ng Ngee Khiang, Regional Director, Visual Products & Robotics Solution Division, Epson Singapore said, “We have achieved another milestone with the EB-L30000UNL with 4K enhancement technology which brings more impressive, higher-quality images in a light and compact design. This record-breaking projector is able to offer a wide range of functions and ease of integration with the compatibility of lenses and interfaces, and is indeed an important addition to our high brightness line up.”
The EB-L30000UNL will be available for sale in the second half of 2020.
