The first-ever edition of Pro Integration Future Asia (PIFA), a professional audiovisual and entertainment lighting (AVL) technologies exhibition and conference for the region, will be held from 26 to 28 June at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore.
Launched by Montgomery Asia, with the Professional Audio Visual & Lighting Integration Association of Singapore (AVLIAS) as its strategic partner and Singapore Tourism Board as a supporter, PIFA2023 will host nearly 100 exhibiting companies from 10 participating countries. Over 6,000 trade professionals from 20 countries are expected to attend, spanning a myriad of sectors such as unified communications and collaboration; digital signage and out-of-home media; production and immersive tech; parks and attractions; smart homes and buildings; and stage and mega events; among others.
The global professional audiovisual industry is estimated to grow by US$113.26 billion from 2022 to 2027, with Asia Pacific set to contribute a significant 41% during this period. Southeast Asia, in particular, is among the fastest-growing regions in the world, with the digital economy and tourism identified as key industries for driving economic growth in 2023. Pro AV technologies play a key role in revolutionising the way we work, play and interact with one another, and these continued digital transformations will help strengthen the region’s competitive standing as the gateway to Asia. Singapore is strategically harnessing the power of digital transformation and pro AVL solutions across all verticals – including tourism – to redefine itself as a destination that delivers impactful experiences and deepens the quality of its human capital.
With the theme “Accelerating Digital Transformation: The Future of Work, Education, and Entertainment”, PIFA2023 highlights the digital transformation wave Southeast Asia (SEA) is experiencing across industries. Digitalisation has spearheaded post-pandemic economic recovery in the SEA region, fuelling innovations in sectors such as banking, food and hospitality, healthcare, retail, production, entertainment, education, worship, and more.
“We are thrilled to launch PIFA, the inaugural trade event for audiovisual and entertainment lighting technologies, this June at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. With various industries accelerating their innovation, agility and efficiency through digital transformation, we take this as an incredible opportunity to showcase some of the most innovative technologies shaping classrooms, workplaces, events, advertisements, education, and more, alongside AVLIAS, who has added tremendous value to the event as our strategic partner,” said Christopher McCuin, Managing Director of Montgomery Asia.
“Building Singapore as the hub for the professional AVL market in Southeast Asia, AVLIAS is delighted to collaborate with Montgomery Asia in organising PIFA2023. The audio-visual and entertainment lighting space is an exciting one to be in, given its ability to elevate experiences across a multitude of industries. I am certain that together, we will create unforgettable moments and drive advancements in the integrated AVL industry,” said Jackson Yeoh, Executive Director of Professional AudioVisual & Lighting Integration Association (AVLIAS).
