Ideal Systems, Asia’s leading Broadcast and AV Systems integrator has announced that it has become NETGEAR’s preferred partner for NDI Systems and Solutions across the Asia Pacific Region.
NETGEAR, Inc., a leading global provider of network switches, launched the M4250 series switches in 2020, the world’s first with instant configuration for NDI. Traditionally, IP-based audio and video workflows required costly equipment and complex configuration settings at the production end. As such, creation of high-quality audio/video content was restricted to professional studios. The NETGEAR line of M4250 switches with its new, easy-to-use AV-oriented interface combined with the NDI software eliminate cost and complexity associated with professional quality audio and video workflows.
Ideal Systems have already delivered a broad selection of NDI video production solutions and studios across APAC using NETGEAR as the core switches for broadcast TV news studios, live sports production, houses of worship, remote learning for universities and colleges, corporate TV studios and large-scale video streaming to social media.
“We are delighted to be recognized by NETGEAR with their Preferred Partner Status. This has been a result of Ideal Systems engineers amassing a great deal of real-world NDI system deployment experience using NETGEAR in a variety of different video production use cases. NETGEAR is also providing advanced training to our engineers so we can fully leverage the NDI interoperability of their switches to the benefit of our NDI solutions,” said Fintan Mc Kiernan, CEO, Ideal Systems SEA.
Ideal Systems recently showcased a selection of NDI products and video production systems at its booth at Broadcast Asia in Singapore on June 1-3 which demonstrated the flexibility and cost-saving benefits of transitioning from SDI to NDI for many different video production use cases, all running off a common and highly cost effective NETGEAR IP backbone. Currently Ideal are deploying a number of enterprise-grade NDI systems for both Broadcast and AV using NETGEAR which helps reduce costs and increase functionality over SDI.
