Amidst the many different solutions being shown at Christie’s booth, one area caught the attention of many visitors to InfoComm Asia. Christie demonstrated how the company is able to offer end-to-end solutions to create an interactive experience. Dr Chris Kee, executive director of Product Management, Christie, highlights, “This showcase expresses our ability to help our customers and end-users with turnkey solutions. The showcase integrates our M 4K+25 RGB 3-chip projector working in tandem with our AirScan product and Pandoras Box media and show control systems to create an interactive experience.”
“There is pent-up demand for experiences, for example, visiting museums, especially after the pandemic. Interactivity has become part and parcel of that experience. Our message is to let our customers and end-users know that we can create a turnkey solution and make their installations easier. It takes a lot of work, such as having the right components and proper design to make technology work smoothly. Rather than they go out there and look for individual components, we can offer them turnkey solutions that work seamlessly to create wonderful experiences for their customers,” said Dr Kee.
Christie also exhibited their Griffyn Series. Two models were demonstrated – the 4K50, which delivers 50,000 lumens and the 4K35, which pumps out 35,000 lumens. Both models are 3-chip RGB pure laser projectors that produce spectacular, vivid, saturated and bright images. The projectors are also compact and offer operational and reliable performance.
Dr Kee also expresses his delight with the show. “The show has been amazing. With Christie’s legacy in projection, a lot of partners have come to engage with us, and they are very happy to see the new and expanding products and also the new 1-chip portfolio that we have here. Also new here is our exciting LED products.”
Dr Kee feels that the positivity in the show is part of the bigger picture. “It is not just the show; our daily and week-to-week activities have shown that Asia is bouncing back strongly post-pandemic and extremely buoyant. There is a massive pick-up, and that is positive. India, for example, has been phenomenal.”
Banners around the booth also reminded visitors about Christie’s dedication to social and environmental governance. “The banners highlight our efficient power consumption for both our projectors and LEDs. Beyond that, we have sustainable practices in our manufacturing plants. From concept to the end product, Christie is conscious about doing its part in safeguarding Mother Earth,” said Dr Kee.
