Amidst their bustling activities, which included setting up their warehouse in Singapore and expanding their team, Q-SYS recently took a well-deserved break to host a Partner Appreciation Dinner on September 27th at the charming venue of The Mason’s Table in Singapore.
The evening was graced by the presence of valued partners hailing from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Paul Lee, director Southeast Asia, Q-SYS, shared his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “I am truly excited to create an occasion that acknowledges and celebrates our partners who are not only embracing innovative approaches in AV technology but also adopting new business strategies. This evening is dedicated to honouring those who are forward-thinking in delivering exceptional experiences.”
Adding to the sentiment, Andy Pearce, the senior director for APAC at Q-SYS, noted, “We’ve experienced remarkable growth in the Southeast Asia region in recent years, both in terms of our business and the expansion of our team in Singapore. It was high time for us to express our appreciation to all our integration partners and distributors in Southeast Asia. This evening served as a platform for celebration, reconnecting, sharing stories, and fostering camaraderie.”
Paul Lee initiated the evening by providing an insightful overview of Q-SYS’s journey over the past three years, highlighting an impressive 64% year-on-year growth in Southeast Asia. He further emphasized the company’s anticipation of another 60% growth in the current year, underlining Q-SYS’s burgeoning global presence. He added, “From our origins as an amplifier-focused company, we’ve evolved into a prominent player in control and video segments, which we believe hold enormous potential for future growth.”
Andy Pearce pointed out that while AV traditionally lagged behind IT, this is no longer the case. He stated, “The Q-SYS platform has ignited a technological revolution, enabling us to harness software and cloud capabilities to create an AV platform ecosystem that resonates with IT professionals.” He proudly proclaimed that AV now occupies a central role, urging everyone to consider its evolving significance.
The Appreciation Night featured several awards recognizing Ecosystem Partners, Rising Stars, Best Growth in Video Solutions, and Best Growth in Control Solutions.
Christopher Lim, the general manager of ESCO, a company honoured with two awards during the event, expressed his thoughts, saying, “ESCO had the privilege of meeting Joe Pham (former QSC CEO) back in 2016, and we were truly impressed by his vision for the company and the industry. QSC has shattered numerous preconceptions along the way, transitioning from being known solely for amplifiers and DSPs to becoming a force in control and video solutions. The technology and architecture behind these solutions enable seamless scalability and connectivity, particularly in the Enterprise segment, which we view as crucial. Our collaboration with Q-Sys has flourished over the years, and we hope it continues for a long time.”
Franky Cahyadi, GM of Operations at PT Goshen Swara Indonesia, another award recipient, shared his optimism, stating, “We began our partnership with Q-SYS at the end of last year. We are highly enthusiastic about their products and confident that, with their support, we can expand the Indonesian market for their solutions. Q-SYS allows us to offer customers an integrated solution that meets all their needs. We are excited about the future with Q-SYS systems.”
The evening was further elevated with a delectable four-course dinner, free-flow of drinks, and entertaining performances, making it an unforgettable occasion for all.
