Q-SYS, a division of QSC, APAC Pte Ltd., is proud to announce the opening of its pioneering APAC Experience and Training Centre in Singapore. The Q-SYS brand has been built over several years in the APAC region through its investment in the right people and tools, and the company has seen tremendous success and growth as a result. The new Experience Centre is not just a space; it’s a commitment to innovation, regional development, and unlocking new business opportunities.
Strategically located just minutes from the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District, Raffles Place, and surrounded by Fortune 500 giants and financial powerhouses, the Experience Centre is poised to become the epicentre of Q-SYS operations across APAC. The space will be a gateway to cutting-edge technology for Q-SYS partners and customers, offering a hands-on journey into the future of audio, video, and control.
“We are thrilled to launch the Q-SYS Singapore Experience Centre,” says Paul Lee, Director, SE Asia, & Managing Director, Singapore, Q-SYS. “This milestone underscores our commitment to the APAC region and allows us to invest back into a market that has been instrumental in our growth. Our customers’ trust has enabled us to get to where we are today, and this interactive space is designed to empower and inspire them in their future projects. Integrators, consultants, and end-users will use the space to discover, learn, and shape the AV landscape with the latest innovations and industry insights.”
The Singapore Experience Centre is a testament to the company’s vision of leading transformation in the AV industry. “By elevating the experiences we offer, we aim to redefine the expectations of end-users and create unparalleled experiences for everyone,” adds Duncan Savage, Vice President and General Manager of APAC, Q-SYS. “We invite our partners, consultants, and technology partners to embark on this revolutionary journey with us as we strive to excite our customers about the limitless possibilities of what can be achieved.”
With the addition of Singapore, Q-SYS proudly operates four experience centres worldwide, including the UK Experience and Training Centre just outside London and a new office in Bengaluru, India, with more on the horizon.
Joe Pham, Chairman and CEO of QSC | Q-SYS, is always a delight to listen to. SI Asia had the opportunity to chat with him at the event.
When asked about his thoughts on the Singapore Experience Centre, Joe expressed his excitement and commitment to advancing AV/AI technology. “We, as a company, are really excited and committed to building technologies to reach our vision of an AV/AI Technology company, working with all our partners around the world. What we are really talking about is elevating the Human Experience. This Experience Centre in Singapore allows us to showcase and demonstrate first-hand to distributors, integrators, and even customers what technology can do to elevate the experience. There are a number of different experiences a visitor can go through in this space.”
Regarding the rapid growth of the Singapore office, Joe shared, “I am not truly surprised by how fast the Singapore office has grown, but I am definitely very grateful for our partnerships that have enabled our growth. We had a long-standing vision for Q-SYS. We started developing Q-SYS 18 years ago with the vision of creating a singular platform across Audio, Video, and Control, which has quickly evolved into the Full Stack AV platform to take advantage of data, cloud, machine learning and AI. I am not surprised because I believe in the company and our partners. We have an amazing team here in Singapore, and I am grateful for all the partnerships, support, and trust that people have in our brand. Today’s event is not just about opening the office and experience centre but really about showing appreciation to our partners.”
In his welcome speech, Joe highlighted Q-SYS’s ambition to become a leading AV/AI Technology company, aiming to offer a Full Stack AV Platform. When asked about Q-SYS’s current position in that journey, he stated, “How we have engineered Q-SYS for 16 years has enabled us to accelerate the full stack AV platform. It is not something you wake up and decide to do. For 16 years, we have been developing a singular platform using standard IT technology, standard protocols, and standard compute. This design philosophy allows us to now extend to the full stack AV platform, bringing more modalities in our inputs and outputs. We are much more intelligent with our data routing and more advanced in what we can do with cloud compute in terms of machine learning and AI.”
Joe continued, “We have the basic foundation to go to the next level, and that is what I am most excited about. We have already seen AI in the industry, for example, in terms of video AI. What makes us unique is not just computer vision at the edge but computer vision in a singular platform. This singular platform allows you to bring in all sorts of devices and modalities and connect with other platforms and spaces. That vast ecosystem and access to data enable all the magical AI in our industry. We are just getting started.”
As a parting remark, Joe stated, “I am excited about the industry’s potential. We have incredible thought leaders and technology, so I believe our industry will grow healthily and converge with AI. We do all this not just because of technology but to share more insights and outcomes and elevate experiences for our customers. Whether you like it or not, the industry will converge with AI, and we at Q-SYS are excited to shape that future.”
Joe Pham’s enthusiasm for AI’s potential in the AV industry is infectious. SI Asia is certain we will see more ground-breaking solutions from Q-SYS in this space.
