After three years of COVID-19 and another year to enable companies to get into their groove, the Systems Integration India Awards (SIIA) will be making a splash in 2023, physically. The awards will be held this year at the 5-Star Sofitel Mumba’s new space – the Hriday Marquee. It will be held on 25th October, Wednesday, at 6.30 pm. The awards coincide with the first day of the InfoComm India exhibition. The hotel is conveniently located within a 7-minute walk from the JIO Convention Centre, where the exhibition is held.
“We are thrilled to be able to hold the awards as an in-person event once again. Guests can expect high-energy entertainment, delicious savouries and beverages and great networking opportunities,” said Thomas Prakasam, Publisher of Systems Integration Asia and organiser of the awards.
The awards logo has been refreshed to create a symbiotic relationship between the awards and the AV industry in India. “But that is just the start. We are planning some exciting new additions for the awards, but for now, I will keep it under wraps,” said Thomas.
There are six categories and three different budget ranges for AV companies to participate in. They are:
* Corporate
* Education
* Government
* Infotainment (Entertainment / Sporting Venues / Museum /Tourism)
* Projection Mapping (Private and Government projects that are solely focused on projection mapping)
* Retail & Hospitality (Spaces within Hotels and Resorts / Convention Centres)
The budget range for each category is: Between 1 to 4 Crore, 5 to 10 Crore, and 11 Crore and above.
This year’s projection mapping projects have been split from the Infotainment projects and made as an independent segment. “The number of projection mapping projects in India is phenomenal and deserves to be recognised independently. At the same time, we have noticed an increase of Infotainment projects where different technologies have come together to offer an interactive experience and thus the reason to recognise Infotainment projects independently as well.”
Submission will open in the later part of July. AV companies, consultants and even end-users are encouraged to start working on their submissions soon.
“We are psyched, and we believe it will be a wonderful evening of recognising the hard work put in by the companies and individuals. After four years, we are looking forward to a special awards evening.”
More information about the awards will be released in the coming weeks.
