The 6th edition of the BAP Technology Consultants Limited Showcase, held at the Crystal Grand Ballroom in Holiday Inn Golden Mile, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong, from 21 to 22 March 2024, proved a resounding success. Spanning across a spacious 7500 sq.ft ballroom, the event boasted 13 exhibition booths showcasing a diverse array of the latest audio-visual and lighting solutions from renowned brands such as Absen, Bosch, Extron, Leyard, LG, Lutron, Netgear, Panasonic, Poly, Shure, TeamMate, Unilumin, and Wyrestorm.
BAP organizes this annual event to present leading manufacturers’ AV/IT and lighting control solutions to an exclusive audience comprising designers, architects, contractors, and other end-users from various industries. Engaging focus group discussions and seminars hosted by industry professionals complemented the technical showcase, offering insights drawn from their extensive expertise, knowledge, and practical experiences.
At the forefront of this year’s showcase was a focus group session led by Finson Lam, BAP’s Managing Director, revolving around the theme “Smart Technologies – Smart Campus.” Lam shared invaluable insights into the latest audiovisual challenges, spanning application, implementation, and management. Moreover, experts from Extron provided visitors with in-depth discussions on emerging AV technology trends and offered technical solutions to address evolving industry needs.
Each participating manufacturer conducted seminars elucidating trends and innovations in their respective domains, enriching the experience for attendees.

* LG‘s innovative products, such as the Transparent OLED Touch Display, UHD Interactive Display, Self-ordering Kiosk, 4K Laser Ultra Short Throw Projector, and 27″ StanbyME, with the Transparent OLED Touch Display standing out for their transformative capabilities and picture quality powered by the new α (Alpha) 11 AI processor.
* Lutron‘s advanced network of products is tailored to enhance building efficiency, responsiveness, and customization, catering to diverse commercial lighting needs.
* NETGEAR‘s M4250 AV Line Series switches feature an AV-oriented GUI for simplified configuration, streamlining network setup for AV applications.
* Panasonic’s 4K projectors, integrated cameras, and remote controllers offer stunning visuals, intuitive controls, and an eco-friendly design that empowers educators and enables immersive learning experiences for students.
* HP | Poly‘s comprehensive meeting solutions, including dual QHD curved monitors, noise-cancelling earphones, immersive stereo sound headsets, portable speakers, and MTR Solutions, facilitate seamless collaboration and connectivity.
* Shure‘s Microflex Wireless neXt 2, a versatile dual-channel wireless system designed for scalable audio solutions in various environments, featuring advanced DSP functions and connectivity options.
* TeamMate‘s technology-enabled furniture solutions bridge traditional and technical furniture to accommodate IT and AV equipment while maximizing room flexibility.
* Unilumin‘s advanced LED display products, including outdoor small-pitch series and carbon footprint-certified displays, emphasise sustainability and cutting-edge technology.
* WyreStorm‘s education solution integrates PRO AV and IT AV to establish robust hybrid teaching systems for educational institutions.
The event concluded with a celebratory cocktail party on 22 March, which brought together exhibitors and the BAP team at the hotel’s Osteria Ristorante Italiano.
