The fears and concerns of COVID are goners, although a warning or two keep cautioning the industry gatherings. Events and gatherings have again become routine regulars for the industry.
Keeping continued the practice of conducting symposiums for showcasing latest audio solutions to the partners and end-users with the objective of imparting necessary training and essential nuances, New Delhi-based AV distribution major Sun Infonet recently conducted a symposium in Kolkata.
This event – coming as it did, after a gap of two years due to the pandemic-induced interruption – proved reopening and rejuvenating the long-trusted platform of interaction and knowledge dissemination across the company’s network ranks in Eastern India.
Organized at the Hotel The Park Kolkata, the event attracted a wide spectrum of industry makers comprising system integrators, consultants and End-Users from Kolkata and neighbouring cities.
The centre of attraction was, of course, Shure audio solutions with their latest offerings comprising new additions and upgrades to existing popular products.
“The Eastern region was not much aware of sound reinforcement and VoiceLift features which we could bring into reckoning, with the MXA-920” remarks Suvankar Ghosh, Sun Infonet’s Manager – East and North East Region.
According to him, giving them a hands-on experience on VoiceLift with MXA920, P300& MXN5WC was the main objective and agenda of the event; apart from hands-on experience, with the wireless system, MXW solution, and MXCW Solution caught the fascination of the attendees; they all enjoyed the solutions on offer.
“After conducting this event, we found our Partners are more confident with Shure products,” he remarked.
According to Manikandan, Sun Infonet General Manager-Pre Sales, and responsible for East, North East and Southern regions, this kind of events is much needed to make Channel Partners confident and competent, and help them pitch the product line that Sun Infonet has to the End-User or any tender.
“VoiceLift and sound reinforcement were the features that Eastern region had heard about many times but how it works was new to them,” he said. “This we took them home, and made them competent enough to take it to market efficiently.”
The intent has been to take this kind of initiatives to all parts of the country in the near future, and help the partners stay abreast with all the latest solutions the company has.
