Projection major Optoma – in association with its systems integration partner MSS World – has executed in New Delhi what is considered as a first of its kind install in India, if not beyond. A dome projection is accompanied by a 360-degree cylindrical hologram inside the Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur auditorium (at Rakab Ganj) opposite Parliament House in New Delhi.
An ambitious dream of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, the project objective was to propagate the life, philosophy and teachings of the ten Sikh Gurus- with a special focus on the martyrdom of the ninth Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Singhji and the sacrifice made by the tenth Shri Guru Gobind Singhji.
Exploiting the full benefits of Optoma’s DuraCore laser technology, MSS World combined ZU1050 and ZU750 projectors – fully concealed in the structure – to create an immersive environment for 55-minute show in the 300-seat auditorium.
While the dome at the top is coated in glowing aluminium from inside, MSS roped in the characteristic holomesh from German screen innovator Glimm Screens International for the 360-degree cylindrical hologram. Audio solutions are done with Harman JBL.
